I experienced similar problems with my 97 vintage 503.  There are a few things you need to check.  1. Verify the rpm with an independent meter, your gauge may be off.  2.  If the gauge is off, check the ground connection.  3.  If the gauge is correct, check the pitch of your prop.  4. If the pitch is correct, you probably need to have the carbs rebuilt (only about $100 to my AP, $30 if you do it yourself).  I ended up doing all 4 and my engine runs fine now.  Good luck,

Hi. All

I am new to Ultralights, I have bout a 1996 Titan Tornado1 last week with a Rotax 532

& Ellison EFS-2 Throttle injector, 64in IVO prop 3 blades running the engine on the ground

i can only get 4200 rpm max.
