A way I have seen it done, was to obtain an appropriate length of 1/2 or 3/4 ID PVC pipe, install that through the rib lightening holes and secure it with ties. Check that the PIPE DOES NOT INTERFERE with any controls

Then route the wires through the PVC Pipe and secure as needed at the exit points. The weight of the PVC Pipes is very small, and the security it offers the wire is very, very good.

I am sure that this is one idea, and that there will be many more.
