Re: [Titanaircraft] 26' vs 23.5' wings

You can get any of the three different wing lengths for any Tornado. Unless you fly at high altitude, loaded for bear on hot days on a regular basis, or are under-powered, the 23-1/2' wing gives a little smoother ride than the 26' does in bumpy air, but the 26' typically adds about 100-150 FPM climb over the 23-1/2' on the heavier planes. Don't even go near the 20-footer unless it is an overpowered single-seater.

Subject: [Titanaircraft] 26' vs 23.5' wings

I am interested in the Tornado 2. I was wondering if the 26' wings were available only on the Tornado 2s or if they were also available as an option on the Tornado 2.

If both wing options are available on the Tornado 2, would anybody comment on the difference in performance between the 3.5' and the 26' wing on the Tornado 2.
