Re: [Titanaircraft] Re: Any Tornado S or SS for sale in US or Canada

Up in Lemars, a fellow has a sonex and honestly I think it is a very sharp plane.  He has the Jab 3300 in it, but wht I noticed is the cockpit is very small especially for a guy like me.  It would be hard pressed to have two people in that cockpit.  But I did like the looks of the plane and would love to fly one someday.  I just got a email back from mark at sonex when I asked if they had considered making  larger cockpit he said they have no plans on doing it.  Still is a very nice aircraft.

I can't imagine what that could possibly be? ;)

But true, because the view is important to me doesn't mean it's important to everybody so I'm only criticizing that aspect of it.

Otherwise it seems like a really nice plane. For instance, the one I saw fly had a 3300 in it and its performance was really spectacular. In fact, with the 3300 it'll exceed LSA performance parameters with the right prop, IIRC, and by a pretty good margin too.

I've also heard a lot of good stuff about Sonex the company itself, etc.

It struck me as sort of a higher performance RV-12....
