Does that mean that you are not going to use the Subaru and go with an engine more appropiate? The Jabiru will probably put many smiles on your face. Good luck in finding a good used one, and if you find two, let me know. My 503 needs to go on somebody's ultralight. The Thundergull/Titan airplanes need an engine like the Jabiru to make distant hops a regular thing. I was up in mine again today, and 100mph cruise is just fun, but the 4.6gph the EIS was telling me needs to be better, and 300 hour tear-downs kinda bug me too.
