Re: [Titanaircraft] Titan 2 place with Jabiru 2200 engine

Mount it in the built-in battery tray in front of the nosewheel. If you're talking the standard 2-place with a fabric-covered tail, you can probably get away with the 17-amp battery unless you're a featureweight pilot (<150 lbs) which would require a 26-amp battery. If you're talking 2S or 2SS, use the 26-amp battery.

I have a question; on a Titan 2 place with a Jabiru 2200 does the battery have to be mounted forward of the instrument panel, rather than aft by the engine? Is it that critical to W&B? This plane will be flown as a single seat. Thanks in advance. I have enjoyed all the good info on this site and appreciate the time fellow builders spend helping one another.
