[Titanaircraft] Re: Tornado 2 vs S

Thanks everyone, I'm going to use the aircraft for flight training, primarily. If the school proves to be successful, and it makes sense, I'll look at a Jabiru or 912, but until I can see that I can turn a decent profit I'm going to keep expenses to a minimum. The S model does seem to make more sense though.

We had a standard 2-seater with the 618, and it had fairly respectible performance, but wasn't nearly as much fun or practical to operate as it was when we replaced it with the Jabiru 2200. The 618 also burned slightly more fuel in a 90-minute flight than our Jabiru 3300.

I'm basically looking for realistic performance changes with the larger S, what size pilot can fit in the 2 vs the S (what that extra 2 inches really translates to)and general recommendations. I'm not going to look at a larger engine just yet but I would really appreciate any insight anyone can shed and if it's worth getting the S over the 2.
