[Titanaircraft] Re: Rotax 912 voltage variation in the cold

I do not have a carb heat system and I did not experience any carb ice. The conditions were ripe for it with a low overcast and haze - although I did keep under the layer completely. Icing was reported by GA passing through the layer. In some cases automated weather at the airports I was passing reported the dew point and temperature were only a few degrees apart.

In my opinion, the best heat system is a mug of coffee on the ground when carb ice is threatening.
