RE: [Titanaircraft] Re: Any Tornado S or SS for sale in US or Canada

Trying to focus on aircraft rather than politics, you may be right that I'm
not getting your point.

You SEEM to be saying that, even assuming aircraft prices have stayed the
same, that fewer people can buy them now (not counting the recession, look
at 2005, maybe) than could in 1989.

If that's what you're saying, do you have any quantitative evidence for that
position?

Anyone know what a fully equipped (ie, full avionics) C-152 cost in 1989? Or
if they had stopped making them by then, the last year they sold in
significant numbers?

And, anyone who's flown both knows that the CT is a hell of lot more
airplane than the 152 ever thought of being. 48" wide, to start with! I'm
wide, and my instructor is no tiny guy, and we didn't even bump shoulders.
It's as wide as a 206! The avionics in the CT didn't even EXIST in 1989.

That's not what I mean (if you're referring to involuntary redistribution of
wealth by the govt).

I have no idea what you're talking about. Markets usually (but not always)
mature in a way that can be described according to the King, Queen, Lords
metaphor (i.e. the software industry, auto industry, etc). We're starting to
see this in the SLSA market too. Look it up.

But this is not relevant to my point.

It doesn't sound like you understand my point at all?

But the important thing to note would be who is buying these CT's and what
their economic position is (as compared to who was able to buy equivalently
priced planes 30 years ago).
