Roland,

Jim Covington has installed the water-heated type, which is the easiest to setup since it requires no wiring. You don't have to worry about turning off the water in warm weather since it only heats the carburetor body and manifolds, with little effect if any on the air temperature.

Has anyone installed the Carb heater for the 912 bing carbs sold on the ultralight Canada website for about $300? If so can you relate your experiences and recommendations for carb deicing?
