A few Titan IIS models were built with fuel tanks in the wings, but
there's still a 5 gal "header" tank behind the seat - you don't reclaim
quite as much space as you'd like. I built baggage bays in the wings
where the fuel tanks went on the early S models, but only gained about 1
cu ft/side.
If I were doing it again, I'd go for the belly pod in a second.
