To get the rotax tools you'll have to get them from a Rotax dealer. I got mine from Lockwood aviation who seems to keep them in stock.

A full set will cost a significant percentage of the cost of a motor but they're worth it if you really like to keep up on the maintenance or have more than one engine. My aircooled motor set was a little over $1000 for everything (not for sale tho as I havn't ruled out another 447/503 in my future at this point).
The 582 set has some specifically for working on the RV shaft and etc. which add to the cost of the whole toolset.

you can also keep the cost down by getting only the essential tools, i.e. all the pullers, the piston pin extraction tool (I'm a wuss and just decided to get the tool for this), the circlip installation tool (unless you're really good with the screwdriver method) and the dial indicator/timing set. Unfortunately, these are also the most expensive items ;).

But to do your own work you just gotta have em.....
