RE: [Titanaircraft] New file uploaded to Titanaircraft

Last Saturday me and the friend of mine that is going to the South African
Sun `n Fun on 23 October did a test run and simulated the max. loading. Here
are the stats. Look at W&B sheet in the "Files" section. "Div Tornado SS
AUW"

MAUW was 1 520lb.

Runway at the see at 90ft AMSL. QNH = 1024 Temp = 11°C

Take off role on asphalt = 990ft

Rotate at 68-70m/h

Climb out at 700ft/min

1 000ft AMSL.

Rate of climb = 500ft/min @ 70m/h

Max speed = 120m/h

2 000 – 3 000ft AMSL.

Rate of climb = 400ft/min @ 73m/h

4 000 – 5 000ft AMSL. Temp = 9°C

Rate of climb = 300ft/min @ 73m/h

Max speed = 100m/h

Stall speed = It does not drop a wing or the nose on idle. It "mashes" down
at 750ft/min and the wings stayed level. This was very surprising. There was
very little wind up there.

Approach and Landing.

Approach speed = 75-80mph

Flaps = 30°

Round out and flare @ 75m/h with power. Fly her in onto the runway. "Like
jet pilots does" (quoted from Kimberly)

Stoppage distance. Short enough. (don't know) I've got the dual caliper
Matco's installed.

When my friend got out of the plane he said. "Now I'm catching spirit for
this cross country trip. This is an unbelievable plane"

Well for the 5 years that I only red the comments from every one on the
forum, I just believed you and now I experienced it myself.

Now you can see why I don't want to build another plane, I just want to
enjoy flying my plane that I've built myself. This makes me very proud.
