[Titanaircraft] Re: Vertical Stab. cracks

Being naturally paranoid and anal, ;), I"m going to go out and do a very close inspection of my stab today, as now I more or less know what to look for. If I find any cracks, I'll get some photos ASAP too.

> After a recent post regarding cracks in the vertical stabilizer, I decided to take a look at mine. Sure enough, there are three of them! All on the right side. There are two at the vertical stiffener, one on either side of the rivet line. The front one is about 1 inch long and the other is about 1/2 inch long. Both are 1 1/2 inches above the bottom of the stabilizer and are horizontal. The rearmost one is about an inch long and is located about 4 inches ahead of the rear of the stab., also horizontal at 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the stab. I don't know how long they have been there but the plane has only about 160 hours on it. I sure would appreciate some advice on how to fix these because I don't want to have to test my parachute.
