the ground side of the battery is connected to the fuselage, return
current will flow throughout the fuselage structure, and any place where
the connectivity is poor can create a small voltage drop, which will
give rise to static noise. A possible remedy for this is to make sure
that all parts of the fuselage are bonded together very well, and the
actual ground path back to the battery from all electrical devices is
kept as short as possible.
