foam ribs, but it's certainly possible. Here are some photos of an install:

Subject: [Titanaircraft] Two questions
I have two questions for the group.
1. Has anyone tried the Simonini engines yet on a Titan. The horsepower
looks phenominal on the 90hp, 102hp, and the 110hp models, all using the
same in-line twin design with 'C' type gearbox. If it works for a Titan, it
will sure work for a Thunder Gull.
2. Has anyone looked into gas tanks in the wing? I know that it would be a
major center section design to create a box area, but what a way to create
space inside, and get some weight up to the center of lift.
Kess, (we are always experimenting with experimental aircraft)
