[Titanaircraft] Converting Titan 1 to a taildragger

My hangar mate Pat wants to consider converting his Titan 1 to a tail dragger. He says that since his plane wants to sit on the tail when empty, why not all the time. He has scoped out the gearleg sockets, and thinks that he can recreate them right under the front seat. Has anyone does this before?? My solution is like Kimberly's, just put bags of sand in the seat when your not flying.
