Re: [Titanaircraft] Seat room

Terry,

If you're not considering the back seat, then you're fine. However, 5'7" and 150 is going to be cramped. I feel like I'm stuffed into a can of sardines in the back of a standard 2, and the 2S back set sits upright too much for our comfort if we had a choice. That's the reason for our new back seat design. While it will provide a small increase in comfort, it can't eliminate the discomfort like the SS back seat can. The 2SS is well worth the money if you plan on having someone with you on more than a few occasions.

Subject: [Titanaircraft] Seat room

I'm thinking about selling my Challenger and three of my four Goldwings, and
buying a Titan.

I know we've had this discussion before, but I don't remember getting a
clear answer. I've flown a -IIS, and a -IISS, but I've never flown a
straight -II.

My concern is about seating comfort. I am SWIMMING in room in my Challenger,
particularly head room, so if it's less than that, that's not a problem.
Both the -IIS and the -IISS had more than enough room---and I'm a lot
smaller now than I was then.

How does the seating in the straight -II compare to those two? Specifically:

I'm 5'9" and about 200 lbs. Any problem in the front seat?

Would the back seat work for someone 5'7" and 150 lbs?

I guess I'm not really looking for the "right" answer, but I'd be interested
in a number of different opinions.

I'm in Incline Village near Reno, Nevada. Is there anyone reasonably close
to here (a couple of hundred miles) who would be willing to give me a ride
in a straight -II?

Thx!
