[Titanaircraft] Advantage of Tapered Warp Drive blades

Warp Drive comes with two types of blades: Standard and "Constant Speed Blade Platform". Am I right in assuming that the "Constant Speed Blade Platform" is what is also called "tapered" blades? If so, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each type of blade for a Tornado 2 with a 912?]
