If you are planning to use the dual Rotax radiator system, it is an entirely painless conversion. I converted my Tornado from a 503 to a 582 several years ago and about the only think you really need do is add a water temp gauge. The Rotax dual radiator mounts directly to the aft end of the engine and the oil injection tank mounts to the left side of the engine. I also had to increase from a 60" to a 62" Ivoprop.
I wrote a couple of articles published in Kitplanes (probably around 2001) about the conversion if you have access to those.
Good luck!
Randy

Subject: [Titanaircraft] upgrade from 503 to 582
I am replacing my 503 with a 582. The changeover is pretty painless, but I would like some guidance on radiator location/brackets. If anyone has good pics of a tornado 582 installation, I would appreciate any advice you may have.
Thanks,
Greg
