The main issue I can think of is the weight. The AV weighs about
30 lbs more.
I'll let you know of anything else I run across. I recently sold
my Tornado S that I built. I was running a Jab 2200 on it. The
Jab is a great engine and gives a great power output for the weight.
I bought a Sonex with an AeroVee conversion on it .. mainly because
I wanted side by side seating and a little more speed. So far the
AV runs well.
My brother runs a Great Plains conversion on his Cygnet and it's
got around 800 hrs on it and going strong.
