We always set two small canvas tool bags, each with a 25-lb. bag of lead shot on the floor in front of the front seat. That makes it much easier to move around. Then, you can put one hand on the tip of the nose cone where it is strongest, and the other hand on the nose fork to push down, then push and pull the aircraft around.
I built an electric tug for the Tornado with a automatic latching swing arm, but have never used it because I haven't installed the 80 lbs of weight required to hold the nose of the plane down while moving it. It's pretty cool, but has ended up as just another toy gathering dust.

Subject: [Titanaircraft] Pushing/moving Tornado in-and-out
Hello all,
I have my Tornado based on a grass strip, the hangar floor is not finished, only gravel, so it is very difficult to maneuver the plane moving/pushing it in and out of the Hangar.
Any jigs or ideas how to move it easier over gravel?
Can people push it from the nose cone or other areas?
That's another concern, try not to push/pull at problematic places.
I thought about design/make some sort of a wheel-stand in the tail..
Thanks,
Rob.
