When I got my first property tax bill I didn't know whether to laugh
or cry. My airplane was valued at well over twice what I paid for it.

When I spoke with the tax auditor I suggested that they buy it for
half of what they said it was worth. "A win-win situation," I told
them. "I'll get back more than I paid for it and you'll get it for
half price!"

It wasn't too difficult to negotiate a better number ...
