We have too much redistribution of wealth in this country as it is.

In some industries, like sports and high finance, coming in second is
virtually worthless. That's what drives up the cost in both of those
industries, where position matters at least as much as quantifiable
production.

That is NOT a problem for people buying LSAs. The crappy state of
unemployment is.

And, of course, the relatively expensive CT is the best selling LSA on the
market.

You seemed to have missed the point. The issue isn't the buying power of a
dollar today compared to 1989, it's the distribution of dollars among the
participants in our economy today vs the distribution in 1989.

The reasons are complicated but the overall affect is pretty clear. Lots of
studies and ink has been spilled on this in the last 20 years or so.
