Re: [Titanaircraft] Re: Any Tornado S or SS for sale in US or Canada

Me too! I have about 10 hours on C-152's, but 100's of hours on C-150's. I like 150's better, as they are lighter, more so with the older ones. I've earned several hours of flight time on a 1959 C-150A fastback and straight tail. It's a bit faster than later ones, but the Titan's and Thundergulls climb waaaaay faster, and cruise about the same. The 150 glides much longer, something I had to get used to in our planes, but no problem now. Speaking of speeds, it's been quite cold here for coast temps, and our 503's have been performing quite strong. I was getting 100mph with 5500-5600rpm yesterday, nice!!

Yepper.. the 152 was made until 1985 or thereabouts. I flew a few of these when I was finishing up my private and for a while afterwards as a renter. These had the O-235 in them and some other slight mods like only 30 degs of flaps. Flew almost exactly like the 150 just a little heavier on the controls.

They made one with long range tanks I remember that. With full gas, you could only fly solo, but it had something like 4 hours of endurance....

Neither one climbed near as well as our titans, tho ;).
